|Subject: Parking in Paris|
I would suggest chosing where you want to go in Paris and parking in one of
the underground garages, which can be found in many parts of the city. For
example, there's a garage next door to the Samiritaine department story,
which is right on the Seine in central Paris, and there's one right near
Notre Dame on the Ile de la Cite. There are also garages at some of the
portes, or entrances, to the city, but I don't know of any specifically in
the north of Paris (where you would probably enter the city from CDG).
As you said, parking on the street can be a nightmare. The only advantage would be on a weekend, when street parking is free, but it's probably worth it to you to park in a garage.
