Linda,
I know you addressed your message to Paolo, but I'm sure you won't mind if I answer it.... VeniceCard is a card for accessing principle tourist services offered by the city. There is a Senior card for those over 29 years old (!!) and a Junior card for those under 29. There are 2 kinds of cards: Blue card - for public transportation and toilettes (washrooms) Orange card - for museums (9 museum sites), public transportation & toilettes They can be valid for 1, 3 or 7 days. It's also possible to include Alilaguna services to/from Marco Polo airport, or reserve a car space (at an additional cost) in the San Giuliano parking lot (which is connected to Venice via public transportation). For adult card holders, free entrance to the casino Ca' Vendramin e di Ca' Noghera. Laurie in Mexico City (formerly from Rome) |
