|Subject: Going to England in March|
Since my British co-workers here is San Francisco have gotten me completely hooked on English Football, I've decided that my next trip will be to England the last two weeks of March. It will be my first time there, and I plan to mix as many games as I can see in with lots of castles and countryside. My itinerary is slowly coming together, but so far seems to be:
Arrive in London on March 21st, off to Liverpool for a game on the 24th, north to York and surrounding areas, Leicester around the 30th for a game, then back to London to see Leeds play before heading home on April 2nd.
Over the next few weeks I'll be scouring the Zine and other sites for information and will be calling on your vast wealth of knowledge for specifics as the trip gets closer.
A couple of things that I'd like to know now to help my planning:
I will probably be traveling from York to Leicester on Good Friday and then to London on Easter Sunday (by train). How much is the train schedule impacted on these holidays? Are museums, pubs, etc. generally open?
Is there anyone living or traveling in these areas interested in a GTG?
