Subject: Guidebooks to consider
I've recently bought a guidebook to Ireland in preparation for an upcoming trip. It's called Hanging out in Ireland and it's by the Frommers people. It's written geared for the younger age group i think, students, budgets. They seem very willing to tell you if an attraction, in their opinion, is worth seeing or not. They list accomodations from hostels to splurge type places and the same with restaurants. Seems like a pretty good book with a bit of a different angle. No photos, pretty decent maps, lots of side bar hints and tips.

BTW, my group found a hotel in Dublin, the Harcourt Hotel on Harcourt street near ST. Stephen's green. It's got reasonable rates, a bar with live entertainment, a late bar for residents and included breakfast. http://www.harcourthotel.ie/main.htm and best of all.... availability! They could fit us all in!!
