Thanks, thanks, thanks. This was the answer I was hoping for. I had
seen a newspaper article around three years ago that featured Ornans
and Vallee du Loup, but couldn't find the article again or remember
exactly where it was. I only knew that it was somewhere between Paris
and the Swiss border, and hoped that someone would recomend it.
We took the train under the Simplon Pass last time, so will probably take the route around the south side of the lake, then meet up with the road down to Lake Orta.
No, I'm not a doctor. I manage several medical bookshops and service students and doctors from Sydney University.
