Subject: Lodging in Charlottesville
The Boar's Head Inn is a good place to stay(pretty upscale-and food is very good). Hamilton's and Bizou's are two good restaurants on downtown mall for lunch. Bizou's is very casual but great food.

I agree a walk around UVA on a nice day is a fun thing to do, esp. after being at Monticello.

If you are into Presidents, James Madison's home, Montpelior, in Orange Va. is not far from Charlottesville and they have a beautiful setting looking at the BlueRidge and very good tours of the building and grounds.

We love Williamsburg, our favorite place!
