|Subject: Re: Re: hotel in the Vatican|
Sometime in the past week or two there was something on television about this hotel. How I wish I had paid better attention. This is what I remember:
A former convent or monastery has been turned into a hotel by the Vatican. It is on the border of Vatican City, and the views from the rooms into Vatican City look fantastic. The hotel looked to be about a four star, and not at all budget or even inexpensive. Actually, it looked rather classy and like a great place to stay.
They interviewed the manager and he seemed gracious and interesting. Of course, all this was for television! I just did a search at both Altavista and The Travel Channel and did not come up with the hotel.
I know it exists, but alas, don't know the name.
