Subject: Re: Bed &Breakfast websites UK
The Automobile Association (AA) has a site http://www.theaa.com/getaway/hotels/hotels_home.jsp They say From farmhouse charm to five-star luxury, we have just the place for you. Our essential guide to around 8,000 AA-approved hotels and B&Bs will help you find it and book it online in an instant.

A huge resource is Smooth Hound. Not necessarily rated but you are bound to find somewhere anywhere! I used it to scout out B&B's first. http://www.s-h-systems.co.uk/shs.html

The British Tourist Authority rates B&B's as well as hotels. You can search them from this site: http://www.travelbritain.org/newhome/triplanner/wheretostay/whrtostayintro.htm The main site is: http://www.visitbritain.com/

By the way, some years ago I found this guide, The Nowhere Guide, http://www.knowhere.co.uk/ It has odd information like places to meet people (hookup spot) and skateboarding locations! More cultural than travel, but I found it interesting enough to save the bookmark!
