We visited Annecy last summer and had an extraordinary meal at Marc Veyrat. His restaurant, a Michelin three star, is located in Veyrier, which is about seven to eight minutes from the center of town on the east side of the lake. We began with cocktails at the water's edge and then proceeded inside through a most unusual and fascinating meal. Very different from any we've had at the great temples of gastronomy, but an amazing one-time experience.
