|Subject: Victoria BC Hotels|
I don't remember reading the post regarding the delightful hotel on
the Inner Harbour, however there are quite a few hotels in Victoria
on and around the Inner Harbour.
Last week, we were there for a couple of days and stayed at the Delta
OceanPointe. A beautiful hotel - full service with all the amenities
you mention. A bit pricey (we were there on a special rate!)and,if
you don't have a car, it's about15 minutes walk or a short bus ride
over the bridge,(or a quick trip on the aquabus) to the centre of
Victoria. However a very quiet and lovely location and a super
harbour walk that starts right at the door.
On the other side of the harbour there are the Laurel Point Inn and the Coast Harbourside. We have eaten but not stayed at either of these but my husband inspected the rooms at Laurelpoint when he was thinking of having a conference there. His advise is to definitely ask for one of the new rooms - I believe they are studios. Both of these are about 10 minutes walk to the centre of things.
Lots of other places very close by if not on the water including, of course, the Fairmont Empress.
Hope this helps and if I can answer any more questions, please ask. Best regards Judy Abbotsford BC
