|Subject: RE: Loire Valley|
Hello Paolo and others:
When my husband and I toured the Loire valley some years ago, we stayed at the Hôtel du Bon Laboureur et du Château at Chenonceaux, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The Hotel which was centrally located for great sightseeing, was really more like a little country inn, very reasonably priced, and the food was, as my kids would say, to die for. Chenonceaux turned out to be our favorite Chateau of all we visited. Something about the graceful arches built out over the river Cher, and fact that it was built by and for a succession of women, including Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Médicis. I hope the Inn is still flourishing, as we'd go back in a minute if we could.
