|Subject: Re: Edgewater Hotel Seattle|
The Edgewater hotel is beautiful. It's designed sort
of as a rustic/lodgey hotel. The food there is
excellent (especially their selection of oysters).
The hotel is famous because the Beatles stayed there! You used to be able to -- and not sure if you still can --fish from the windows as it sits on a pier.
The hotel's proximity to things is fantastic. You can walk to (or take the trolly from across the street) the Pike Place market (NOT TO MISS!). From there you can walk anywhere downtown. It's also a very nice stroll on the waterfront to different shops and very good seafood restaurants.
I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to stay in seattle for all of those days. It is certainly not 'too long' of a stay. It's a great location.. and the weather should be nice too.
Enjoy my city!! I truely believe it's one of the finest.
