Subject: Michelin guides (encore)
The red Michelin guide (hotels+restauarants) France 2002 is in two versions: the international one with symbols, no text and the French one with additional short descriptions (in French) on ambiance or menu. This is new for Michelin red.

There are 26 regional green guides for France (in addition to the general one on France). For the most popular regions there are versions in various languages. Recently these guides have been revised and have become very attractive with photos (before just drawings), hiking routes, and even, for the larger towns, practical info (Carnet pratique) on restaurants, hotels, shopping. Not as extensive as the red guide, naturally. I'm not sure whether the new non-French versions have this practical section.
