Subject: Re: hotel in central london -oxford street 4 under $100
A few years ago we stayed at the Jenkins in Bloomsbury. It is 85 pounds double with breakfast, cheaper without private facilities. Very nice.

Most tourist sites are walkable from here. The houses on the square are wonderful Georgian townhouses built in 1807 or so with a garden in the centre.

There are many small hotels on Cartwright Gardens which are recommended by various guidebooks. If you do a search in Google or other search engine, keywords London Cartwright Gardens hotel Bloomsbury, you will find several. Rough Guide to London (1997 edition) lists Avalon at 46-47 Cartwright Gardens, Crescent at 49-50 CG, Euro and George at 51-53 CG, Harlingford at 61-63 CG.
