Subject: Southern France memories |
Hi John
You wrote about driving between Coullioure and Carcassone.
Your message recalls beautiful memories of both towns, together with the
memories related to my elder son, being 18 months old during that trip, who
spoiled our delicious lunch at Coulliure as he wanted to walk around and
forced us to eat taking turns....BTW the year after, at the Kroeller
Mueller museum in Arnhem, Netherlands, we discovered a little painting of
the same town.
I hope anyone goes to Carcassonne, if they travel in Southern France; time
has stopped there at Middle Age and it's so nice to walk around, except for
the steep streets. I ate a delicious confit de canard in the main square
while my toddler chewed with great pleasure his piece of bread!
