Subject: Re: Italian Language Schools

My husband spent a summer at that school during college in 1988 and had a great time. Perugia is a great place to spend time, and being in a less crowded place in summer is always a plus. Personally, I would choose Perugia over Florence in the summer anytime. The city is managealbe and you can still take day trips to other places by train or bus.

We spent two weeks last summer based in Assisi and toured around Umbria. It's a beautiful area and much less crowded than Tuscany. You will have ample opportunity to practice your Italian in Perugia. And, if you are there in July, you might be in town for the annual Umbria Jazz Festival, two weeks in early/mid July.
