If you are looking to explore the outdoors, there are lots of opportunities around the Park and nearby. If staying in Townsend, we can definitely recommend the Richmont Inn. However there are many choices around Gatlinburg for cabin or condo rentals in the mountains. Of couse there is also the Blackberry Farm, consistently rated one of the best inns in the country.
