Subject: RE: Spookiest Spots
I wrote this posting about a week ago, but my email wasn't working so I wasn't able to send it out. Now - FINALLY! - it's ok again. So here's my posting, once again a bit late, but I'm sure you'll all forgive me... :-)

I agree with Evan about East Berlin behind the wall, but particularly the bombed out church from WWII which had never been repaired, nor demolished.

Others on my Spooky list:

1) being followed/spied on in Russia back in the 1970's 2) While backpacking around Europe in the 1970's, one night I had a dream (more like a nightmare) that I was walking in a small street in some little town along the Rhine in Germany. A strange, old man with a weird look in his eyes turned into that street and suddenly ran over to me and attacked me. Next day while walking around the town, I suddenly came across a street that looked just like the one in my dream. Boy, was I out of there fast!
