Subject: Re: Near-miss GTG in Trujillo, Spain
Hi Covadonga,

Thanks for your note.

We got really lucky with the weather during our trip. The first couple of weeks (Madrid, Toledo, Almagro, Jaen, Lucena, Granada, Ronda and Seville) was very warm, which was wonderful because we were able to sit outside and really enjoy the evenings.

Spending a lazy hour on the patio of the Parador in the Alhambra in Granada sipping a Tio Pepe with the view of the Generalife Gardens; having a couple of Cervezas while watching the world go by in the Plaza Mayor in Madrid; sharing a Paella at a curbside cafe in Seville - it was a sweet time.

The weather turned cooler for the rest of the trip (Merida, Trujillo, Guadalupe, Jarandilla, Salamanca and Segovia), which was good because we did an awful lot of walking in those cities. The only real rain we got was while driving back to the airport from Segovia. From what I understand, we were lucky, because eastern Spain got hit pretty hard and the system was moving west. I hope Graziella managed to avoid the bad weather.
