Susie, you will find that, in the heat of the summer in the Deep South,
many prices are lowered. Charleston, SC, at least, has few visitors when
it is hot. However, during the first week or so of June, Spoleto is there
and rooms are rather scarce. The beach is never 'on sale' in the summer,
though.
