Subject: museums that you have especially liked
If you love Monet and other Impressionists you will love the Marmottan Museum in Paris. It's home to Monet's 'Impression: Sunrise'. The museum is off the beaten track - it was fairly quiet and not at all crowded when I visited, enabling me to really enjoy the paintings. It was additionally enjoyable because the day before, I had visited Monet's Garden in Giverny. I'd recommend doing the same. (Go to Monet's Garden early and beat the crowds.)

Another wonderful (off the beaten track) museum in Paris is Musee Jacquemart-Andre. It reminded me of the Frick in New York - fabulous mansion filled with art. Be sure to take tea on the terrace.
