|Subject: Re: Never|
Hi everyone (and a big hello and welcome to Clive)
This is a sort of 'Never'
When I was 21 I applied for a job as a nanny in Moscow. It was more a dare from work after saying I'd love to go to Russia and they thought I was mad.(This was 1971)
I was absolutely stunned to be offered the job after being one of 112 applicants - but had not considered whether to go or not.
That night my mother said If you go to Moscow and you hate it you can say 'I went to Moscow and it was awful'. If you don't go you will never know.
I've used this philosophy for travels and jobs ever since - and have rarely been disappointed!
