Warm Greetings!!

I shall be in London July 1-5 and Paris from July 5-11 after a ten day trip to Hamburg, Germany. It will be real fun to do side trips to these 2 great places.

Any suggestions on reasonably priced but decent hotels and restaurants? What about interesting places to see and visit other than where normal tourists would go to. I've been to these places but on group tours and this is the first time I am doing it on my own.

Any information or recommendation to make this trip really fun, enjoyable and memorable will be gladly appreciated. Thanks.
