|Subject: London and Paris|
Just got back from London, which tends to be pricey. A restaurant I found invaluable was the Cafe in the Crypt, in the basement of St. Martin's Church in Trafalgar Square. The location is perfect--the National Gallery is just around the corner, and many West End Theaters are close by. The prices are reasonable, the food is really good, and the place has a fun, funky atmosphere. Plus there are free afternoon concerts at the church, and wonderful candlelight Baroque concerts on certain evenings.
Also, check out some of the guided walking tours like Original London Walks. They're cheap, fun, and get you into parts of London you'd never find on your own.
Have a great trip!
