A small gem of a harbour that I've enjoyed is *Havre de Grace*
in Maryland. I likely would never have discovered it but for a
friend from Baltimore having part of his wedding celebrations there.
It's possible to take a tour of the harbour on a large, decades old crab boat, and enjoy absolutely fresh crab cakes at a couple of modestly priced establishments on the water. There's a fishing museum that's worthwhile, as well as a couple of interesting antique shops.
