Subject: RE: Hawaii Information

If the surf's running high, going up to the north shore to watch the surfers is a kick. When the Pipeline is hot, it's awesome to watch.

The Chinese Chamber of Commerce puts out a map for a walking tour of Old Honolulu:

Attend a church service in one of the little churches out of Honolulu.

Check the newspaper for local musical events. There are some wonderful groups on the island.

Look for a book, called, I think, Hidden Hawaii (sorry, I couldn't find it online at the moment). It's got some nice info about hidden beaches &such.
