Subject: Cemeteries
Good evening All this talk of cemeteries is interesting. Toronto's Mount Pleasant Cemetery is a wonderful place to bone up on the history of Toronto and some very prominent Canadians are buried there. It is the greatest place to collect leaves for leaf projects that many of the schools ask for in the fall. The trees have plaques on them giving the names of the trees. I know from personal experience having to do this many long years ago. I also believe that there is a little cemetery on Pearson International Airport, Toronto. I think the airport authority is trying to have it moved but relatives of the people buried there are making strong objections. Of course it will be very difficult to read headstones, if they are still there! M. Auwaerter. Toronto
