Damme was a nice walk, a change of pace and interesting historically. There is not much there - we did visit a little local history museum (a hospice). There are some used book stores (not much in English) and some cafes.
At one time it was important enough to host a royal wedding and was the seaport for Bruges. Now it is a pretty backwater although not pretty enough to warrant a picture of the town itself!
If time is short, I wouldn't bother visiting it but it suited us. We walked there and took the bus back.
