In 1999 Rachel and I took the TGV from CDG Airport to Lyon. We kept asking until we found someone that could understand English or our very poor French and finally a young lad who spoke perfect English, took us to the bus and rode with us to the station. If I remember correctly the ride took about 15-20 minutes, past 5 or 6 stops. They do announce each stop over the P/A system, but as I recall it is very hard to hear. I hope someone who has been there more recently can correct if I am wrong on this.
