|Subject: Re: Residence Inns|
Just wanted to add my bit to the replies you've already had.
We stayed at the Residence Inn, Eugene (daughter's grad!) for 3 nights just a couple of weeks ago.
Of course, it was quite plain accomodation if you compare it to a regular Marriott Hotel but we found it to be excellent for our needs.
Although the small kitchen wasn't used much by us, it was well stocked and it was great to have a fridge and microwave for the odd snack. We left a few plates and cups around one morning and the maid put them through the dishwasher for us. The room was quite spacious and the staff excellent.
If you are not a member of the Marriott Rewards plan, consider joining. It's free of course and they currently have a promotion giving you a slew (can't remember how many) of points for your first stay. They quickly add up and can be transferred to various airline frequent flyer plans.
