|Subject: Seattle Hotels|
My bride (who works about three blocks from Myrtle Edwards Park) tells me that there are no hotels right in that area. I did a search at Seattle City Search http://makeashorterlink.com/?F66A34331 but there are a plethora of hotels within one mile. Of the ones listed, we have stayed at the Alexis, Marriot Courtyard on Lake Union and at the W Hotel. For a nice experience, try the Inn at the Market, which is right in Seattle's famous Pike Place Market.
If you are looking for a deal try Priceline. Specify Downtown only and at least three star. We got a room last year (for a romantic evening in the city) at the Courtyard for less than $65 a night.
Myrtle Edwards Park is right on the waterfront on Elliott Bay. We watched the fireworks there last night.
If you need restaurant recommendations, let us know, we love to eat out.
