Subject: Studying Italian in Italy
Greetings to All:

I have gone to Italy several times over the past few years. Each time I acquire a little more Italian. But to describe my present facility in this language as basic would be more than generous.

I have been considering lately whether to enroll in an Italian language program, say next Summer. I know that there are universities in Siena and Perugia devoted to teaching Italian to foreigners. And I have seen many private language schools in the cities that I have visited.

Has anyone had any direct experiences they can share about studying Italian in Italy? Recommendations for good programs and/or who to talk to about them?

All feedback greatly appreciated.
