Good Afternoon One of the Ziners (Janet Solomon) was wondering about Northern Italy. Many
long years ago I did the Grand Tour of Europe and we crossed into Italy through the Dolomites
and down into Bolzano. It was gorgeous. A movie had been made about the area and it was called
The Glass Mountain. I believe Olympic Winter Games were held in Bolzano a few years later.
The roads were very scary, but since so many of the roads in Europe have been straightened
up since then, it might mean that the sense of adventure has gone. M. Auwaerter, Toronto
