Subject: Re: Re: About Berlin ...
Hi Baerbel, yes, those are the places. I am interested on the Reichstag precisely because of Foster. He was in charge of the Bilbao Metro, and the entrances are like small Reichstag domes, all glass and steel. We call them Fosteritos (see http://makeashorterlink.com/?U2E025B41 ). We are really happy with our metro system :)). The Liebeskind building ( http://www.thecityreview.com/liebes.gif ) looks pretty impressive. I have been checking the second week schedule, and it looks as if we will have plenty of interesting walks. Every day is devoted to something different ( Jewish Berlin, Berlin since the Wende , the capital city and the squats ...) so I guess I won´t have time to be bored. I just hope there will be fine weather. Today has been our first day of real summer weather here in northern Spain, and I was really missing the heat of the sun...

Kind regards, Covadonga Bilbao - Spain ========

I just hope that we're talking about the same thing : - Reichstag is an old building with a new glass addition (Norman Foster?) where our parliament meets. - Jewish Museum from Liebeskind is a completely new building.
