|Subject: Travel planning - Italy March or May|
Considering the time available, climate, and crowds (in Italy) - are we better
off going for 10 days in March or 16 days in late May - early June?
Well, length of the vacation aside (longer is always better!), we'd opt for May/June instead of March. Kirsten and I have found March invariably cold and wet albeit relatively tourist-free. The crowds will certainly be greater in June but the weather will be so much better that you might not mind!
