I am looking for hotel recomendations in downtown Montreal and downtown Ottawa. It will be for two adults, in August.

The last time I visited Montreal was in 1986, and we stayed at Le Chateau Champlain. This time I am looking for something smaller and charming, and within walking distance to downtown attractions. If you know of any, please advise.
