While in the SW you've gotta visit at least one Anasazi site. The sites I've been to, all worthwhile, are Canyon de Chelly (pronounced d' Shay) in northeast AZ, Chaco Canyon in northwest NM (south of Farmington) and Mesa Verde Nat'l Park in southwest CO, west of Durango.
