Subject: Re: Southwest trip planning
Greetings.

There is a lot to see and do in the Southwest. In order to save time for the many enjoyable places, I suggest avoiding Taos. I found Taos to be vastly over-rated. The downtown core was a mish-mash of tacky shops. The main highway runs through the center of town and is a major traffic jam from 9:00 AM to after 6:00 PM. At least it was when I was there. Crowds are everywhere. Sorry, I did not care for Taos.

Visit Acoma Pueblo, the Sky City, outside of Albuquerque. It is about 1000 years old, far older than that those cities on the East Coast of the USA that claim to be the oldest in the USA. :) It is one of the few cities in the USA that comes close to the age of many European cities.
