Subject: Re: U.S. Interstate 90 Tolls |
Hi Will,
Certainly your subject qualifies for TheTravelzine! When you get on the New York State Thruway, you will have to stop at a booth to get a ticket, which is your proof of legal entry. Upon exiting the highway, you will present that ticket to the toll taker, who will charge you the amount indicated on the ticket for that specific exit. Be prepared to pay in cash. Credit cards are not accepted. Passenger cars pay the minimum rate indicated on the card and there is no difference in the price you pay if you are driving your own or a rented car. Be sure you do not misplace your ticket and do keep it out of sight with your car doors locked if you stop at a rest area en route. Happy travels, Don and Linda |
