I don't think any discounts are available at the moment on the Gatwick Express. Interestingly, the Heathrow Express IS offering discounts (for the first time) by purchasing online. You can buy Gatwick Express tickets online and they will send to a UK address or you can pick them up from various stations. However, there seems to be no saving for doing this.

These companies run a very different ticketing system to the other UK rail operators, so you can't get discounts for booking 3 months in advance and travelling at 2 in the morning. Your best bet is to turn up and buy the ticket.
