Subject: Re: Sicily in February
Hello H.

Sicily is in the centre of Mediterranean Sea, a couple hundred mile fro Africa, so it's never too cold except on the mountains. As I previously explained replying to a similar question about Rome, I never found Central or Southern Italy very cold, but I live in the Northeast and my perception is somewhat spoiled by the bitter harsh wind we experience on some winter days .... Anyway the almond trees in Agrigento blossom in February, so it could be a good time to see Sicily without the hordes of summer tourists.
