Hi Rebbi and All,

Loved your lighter moments. Reminds me of way back in the Seventies, when Southwest was the new airline, their big thing was they were the Love Airline. Everything from napkins and drink stirrers had hearts, and the flight attendants wore white mini skirts and boleros, with red blouses with hearts on them. Their whole advertising campaign was THE LOVE AIRLINE.

I worked for a very reserved insurance exec in Conn. at the time and booked him on Southwest to visit our various TX offices, once he was in TX. (At the time they didn't fly outside the state.) On his return, he actually blushed, thanked me for booking SWest and said, 'I did start to wonder, when the attendant served my coffee and said, Remember, we are the Love Airline, if there is anything we can do for you..... and smiled a big smile.' Then he said, We may need to keep a closer watch on those TX offices. Boy, those ladies are beautiful.

Flying has certainly changed.

Happy days,

Lou (Lakeway, TX)
