|Subject: Re: Bottled Gas|
When you say bottled gas you need to be more clear as to if it is
Propane or white gas. Big difference in europe. There is also
a hook up difference in europe compared to american. The way the
bottle attaches to the stove.
My husband and I fly hot air balloons that use Propane to create the heat to fly. When a balloon is shipped overseas we have to empty our tanks and have them purged with nitrogen. Airlines do not like flying with more fuel onboard than what they need to fly thier aircraft. So taking your own bottles on the plan may cause you more headache than it is worth.
I think the best bet is to buy the burner &gas while there in Europe and leave the gas bottles in europe when you come home. And just keep the burner.
