I was told by my good friend in Praha/Prague that the subway is not functioning well as a result of the flooding and many tourist sights, places of interest are cleaning up. Some small towns have been devastated.It is extremely sad that this had to happen to Praha, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. They survived WW II but nature has taken its toll!

Another friend is going there Aug 31st, but their hotel cancelled their reservation and they had to scramble and find alternatives.

I am sure that life in Praha 1, old town and main tourist attractions in the center of the city have been majorly disrupted, but I am sure Praha is still worth visiting. I have been there three times but will still visit if time permits.
