|Subject: Travel in Italy|
Quick question everyone We attended a seminar on traveling in Italy in prep for our upcoming trip in November. The fellow that taught insisted we had to buy a Packnet security device for securing our luggage while on a train. You can see it at http://www.pac-safe.com/nav1/products/ex_inst.htm.
Do we really need this? Is it a normal thing to see on trains in Italy? Is there that much theft on the trains? We will be traveling together so if one of us needs to go to the restroom the other would be with the bags.
Speaking of trains, is there food on them? Or do you make sure you eat before you go?
