|Subject: Driving from Barcelona to Madrid/ Madrid info|
My wife, son and I will be travelling to Barcelona and Madrid at the end of October. We're toying with the idea of driving from Barcelona to Madrid. The Michelin Web site says it's a six-hour trip, and we're thinking of making a day of it, leaving early in the morning, stopping for lunch and snacks along the way, doing a bit of sightseeing and arriving in Madrid in the evening.
Have any of you made this trip? Can you suggest where to stop for meals and sightseeing (picturesque towns etc.)? (Should we think twice about making the journey?)
Also, we'll be in Madrid for a couple of days. Any suggestions on what to see (considering our son is 2 1/2 and doesn't have to greatest attention span!)?
Thanks in advance for help and advice.
