|Subject: Getting to Deruta Italy|
Some pretty particular info if anyone can help us.
My bride and I will be in Rome for 5 days and want to make a side (1
day-no night) trip to Deruta so we can see the incredible ceramics factories (and probably leave a lot of money there). Can anyone give us some advice on the best way to get there. By train seems to take all day. Even if we leave Rome very early we have to change trains and then it takes almost half the day. Our alternative seems to be to take the train to Terni and then rent a car. Only problem is the only car I can find to rent there only allows a minimum three day
rental. I suppose we could rent a car in Rome and drive us but the prospect
of driving in and out of Rome, frankly, scare the hell out of me. Does anyone have any other possibilities for us?
