I live in France and often take my car to UK.

I'd say it is maybe easier to drive in UK with the LHD car , if you are used to it. With a RHD drive car you tend to unconsciously position the car wrongly (too close to the kerb, right hand turns, reversing etc). On the highways there is little difference. Small roads are the main problem.

Against that there are problems with LHD in overtaking ......... and drive through McDonalds are tricky !
