|Subject: Eurostar Trains|
I just want to make sure that I have the right info. So here is the question.
On November 10 (a Sunday) we will be arriving in Milan on a flight from Atlanta. We want to immediately take the train to Venice. Should we buy tickets online or here in the US before we go? We want first class/non-smoking tickets. Or will we be fine just waiting until we arrive?
We were originally going to buy a rail pass through the folks at Rick Steve's (they are very close to where we live) but they were nice enough to tell us that for the amount of travel we were going to do, a pass would be a waste. They also told us that we would have no problem getting the first class train tickets. Were they right about this?
Your help will be invaluable. All the rest of our trains (Venice-Florence, Florence-Rome) we can reserve when we arrive in those cities.
