For those of you who have a special fondness for the clickety-clack of riding on the track there was an interesting article in the Desktop Traveler column of the Wall Street Journal yesterday. It provided links to the following websites regarding travel on trains.
This is a nicely done website by a gentleman in England (who prefers seat 61 on the London to Paris train). This site has myriad links to train-related websites all over the world.
An online travel magazine that has has a good railway section focusing on North America (lots on western Canada).
This site is most useful to those traveling by rail in the U.S.
Well all you train buffs out there have a look at these sites. And for all others the first one listed should be a useful tool when riding the rails in Europe.
